Every August during Championship Saturday of the Little League Baseball World Series, two Little League Challenger Division teams are given the unique opportunity to play in a once-in-a-lifetime exhibition game at Volunteer Stadium. This year, Woburn Little League Challenger Division team has been selected out of over 900 leagues across the U.S. to play a team from Pennsylvania in the 2025 Little League Challenger Division Exhibition Game. This is only the second time a Challenger team from Massachusetts has been invited to play in this momentous game. This year, the Woburn Little League Challenger Division is celebrating its 30th year, and what a way to commemorate by participating in this memorable game in Williamsport, PA.
Kickoff Celebration
Join us for a special kickoff celebration honoring the Woburn Little League Challenger Division’s exhibition game at the Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA! The festivities take place on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at 4:30 PM at Weafer Park and will feature food, music, slush, and more family fun. Come show your support, enjoy the celebration, and stick around as we announce the winner of the 50/50 raffle!
