Registration is based on a first come basis with registration capped between 10 - 12 girls per session. Registration is not guaranteed for all sessions and will be based upon availability. Rachel will reach out to confirm registrations.
Pitchers must bring their own ball, water, & provide their own catcher*. As part of each lesson, Rachel will work with pitchers through a series of drills & techniques, as well as providing education to parents & coaches.
* Catchers: Any catcher interested in getting some off-season work can use the free sign-up form to register their availability for the sessions. Woburn Little League will attempt to match up any catchers looking for work with pitchers in need of catchers. Based on pitching registrations, there is a possibility that no extra catchers will be needed.
About the pitching clinics
Clinics open to pitchers of all skill level! Each clinic will stand on its own, though it's recommended that pitchers attend all four sessions if possible. During each session, we will move through a progression of drills during the first half and then move to full-form pitching for the second half. There will be a strong emphasis on great mechanics to avoid injuries ... working on developing accuracy, speed, and locating pitches, and introduce different spins/pitches in the last session. Each pitcher will receive individualized attention throughout the sessions in addition to the group coaching.
