A $25 Late Registration Fee will be applied to all registrations submitted after Sunday, February 22, 2026. This fee helps offset additional costs charged by vendors once uniform orders have already been placed.

AAA Softball: Grades 1 - 2
Minor Softball: Grades 3 - 4
Major Softball: Grades 5 - 6
Junior Softball: Grades 7 – 9 (9th Graders must be eligible to play 14U based upon the USA Softball age matrix)

Tryouts & Evaluations

Tryouts and evaluations will be announced at a later date; Minor, Major, and Junior Softball are ability-based divisions playing cross-town against our partners in the Merrimack Valley Girls Softball League (MVGSL). Players may be placed in a lower division if not selected for the division they are grade-eligible for (e.g., an age-eligible Junior may be placed in Majors).

2026 Challenger Baseball

Note: Due to changes in the Little League Data Center, registrations are separated by birth date. Both groups will continue to play together on Saturday mornings.

The Challenger Division was established in 1989, the Little League Challenger Program enables Players, boys and girls, ages 4 and above with physical and intellectual challenges to enjoy the game of baseball along with millions of other Little Leaguers worldwide. Today, more than 30,000 children participate in more than 900 Challenger Divisions worldwide.

Woburn League Challenger Division is free of charge with one game a week held on Saturday Mornings at Weafer Park. The Season will start with the annual Woburn Little League opening day parade and ceremonies. The games will run from April to the end of July with a last game cookout celebration at Weafer Park and players receiving the championship metals

2026: Winter Clinic

Woburn Little League will return with the Winter Clinic starting on January 11th.

Once again, sessions will be held at the Joyce Middle School gym on Sunday mornings. These sessions are designed to be fun and teach the fundamentals of the game with drills covering all aspects of play. This is a wonderful opportunity for players of all skill levels to get back into baseball and softball before getting onto the fields in the spring.

For this year our sessions will be divided by age groups with each group playing on alternating weekends for a total of six 90 minute sessions for each group. Because of the varying levels of the sessions it will be important your child only attends the session for their age group. The schedule is as follows:

Group A

Group A will play the following Sundays: 1/11, 1/25, 2/8, 2/22, 3/8, 3/22

9:00am-10:30am – AA Baseball (5-6 year olds based on 2025 baseball age matrix)
10:45am-12:15pm – AAA Baseball (7-8 year olds based on the 2025 age matrix)
12:30pm - 1:30pm - Challenger Open Gym

Group B

Group B will play the following Sundays: 1/18, 2/1, 2/15, 3/1, 3/15, 3/29

9:00am-10:30am – Minor and Major Baseball
10:45am-12:15pm – Softball (Softball ages 7 - 12 based upon the Age Guidelines)

Umpire Registration for Spring/Summer 2026

Boys & Girls age 13 - 16

Junior Umpires will be used for AAA Baseball, Minor Baseball & Minor Softball division games. Junior Umpires will learn how to ump games and be compensated for all assigned games.
