2026: Middle Essex

Woburn Little League participates in the USA Softball Middle Essex Summer League along with other towns. The Middle-Essex Summer League is a competitive league split into an A & B division which has featured games in the past against teams such as Lowell, Reading, Tewksbury and others. As part of the Summer Softball, Woburn Little League encourages all players & teams to participate in raising fund for the Jimmy Fund!

Teams are separated into 3 Divisions

10U: Players born between 9/1/2014 - 8/31/2016
12U: Players born between 9/1/2012 - 8/31/2014
14U: Players born between 9/1/2010 - 8/31/2012

Waitlist: Registration will be on a 1st come 1st serve basis based upon payment, with registrants capped at 15 individuals. Please register if a team is currently waitlisted, all registrants after 16 will be waitlisted until we are able to successfully add another team. Should we not add another team, we will work with our partner towns to try to secure a team. Specific team requests can not be honored.

2026: Jimmy Fund

Since 2021, Woburn Little League has raised over $143,000 for the Dana-Farber Institute & The Jimmy Fund during the summer Jimmy Fund Little League.

Jimmy Fund Little League presented by Franklin Sports provides more than 5,000 Little League baseball and softball players throughout New England the chance to continue playing after their regular season ends, while fundraising for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. These players raise vital funds for the Jimmy Fund while learning the importance of philanthropy and volunteerism, and that they, too, can make a difference in the fight against cancer.

Teams are separated into 3 Divisions

7 - 8 Year Old
9 - 10 Year Old
11 - 12 Year Old

Help strike out cancer by participating in or supporting Jimmy Fund Little League.

2026 Challenger Baseball

Note: Due to changes in the Little League Data Center, registrations are separated by birth date. Both groups will continue to play together on Saturday mornings.

The Challenger Division was established in 1989, the Little League Challenger Program enables Players, boys and girls, ages 4 and above with physical and intellectual challenges to enjoy the game of baseball along with millions of other Little Leaguers worldwide. Today, more than 30,000 children participate in more than 900 Challenger Divisions worldwide.

Woburn League Challenger Division is free of charge with one game a week held on Saturday Mornings at Weafer Park. The Season will start with the annual Woburn Little League opening day parade and ceremonies. The games will run from April to the end of July with a last game cookout celebration at Weafer Park and players receiving the championship metals
